Record Store Day Australia

Record Store Day Australia
Music is good for the soul, well that's what I believe. So in theory Record Store Day is good for the soul too.

On the Saturday 19 April the humble record store that provides an avenue in which people can find old favourites, source out the hide to finds, discover new music and talk all things vinyl is being celebrated right around Australia.

This is such an important day for the music industry as it reiterates the importance of the traditional music outlet as one of the major avenues for the public to discover the many genres of music releases each year.

Over the coming two weeks further announcements will be made on special in-store promotions, performances, signings from local bands through to major names, in-store sales. In short, this will be an enormously entertaining day celebrating music and musicians in all their myriad hues.

Ambassadors Adalita, Marica Hines, Dan Sultan, Tim Dalton and Ian Hunter are all lending their support to celebrate Record Store Day Australia too.
