Knit Off

I don't know about my other fellow Southern Hemisphere buddies, but I've pulled my winter knits and ugg boots out of the cupboard. Summer is very much so starting to feel like a distant memory.

The upside to this cooler weather is that I get to be all cosy inside, sipping cups of tea, drawing, cutting new stencils and working away on projects. Though knit...

I'll honestly raise my hand and say that I've not knitted in about 15 years but the latest challenge set by the lovely peeps at Element Eden have me thinking I might just give it a crack this winter.

Element Eden are running a Knit Off competition, simply by submitting your best knitted creation online before June 30 you go into the draw to win a beautiful new Element Eden wardrobe, plus a year’s supply of yarn from Cleckheaton.

Whether you’re into beanies, scarves, mug warmers, fingerless gloves, throws, tea cosies, potholders, socks, cute creatures….. or any form of design, get into the spirit of winter DIY and start knitting!

Don’t forget to upload an image of your nifty knitting project to Element Eden’s facebook “knit off” tab, or post your knitting project on Instagram and tag @elementeden_au and #elementedenknitoff.

Something even a little more special is that Element Eden Advocate Bec Winnel (also a favourite illustrator of mine), illustrated the instructions on how to knit a mug cosy which will be available on the Element Eden Australia blog real soon.
