"If you have or know someone with any original Quiksilver boardies or any boardies from the day, throw me an email and I will offer some good coin for them. I don't the high tech philosophy behind 'performance boardshorts' these days. Boardshorts are meant to look bright, loud, sit well above the knee and give you a rash if worn all day. A3 - Small Art Show

"A3" is a Small Art Show opening at For Walls Gallery featuring over 50 artists from around Australia and overseas coming together to submit A3 sized work, with a portion of sales going towards the charity, Room to Read.

Currently I'm working on my piece for the show which will feature the first of my limited edition stencils. Yes, as of recently I've made the decision that any stencil I cut will only be sprayed 10 times plus an artists proof. As I'm just starting to the design I'll just give you a heads up if your into cute bunnies doing cute things then you'll want to keep your eyes open if you want to get your hands on an original. It will feature my very own honey bunny Nickel.

I look forward to seeing you for drinks on Wednesday 17 November from 6-8pm for the opening of "A3".

Introducing 3...

Sadly my little bunny Nickel is not on top of the world, she needs some serious vet attention and with that comes some pretty big vet bills. At only 7 months old, I'm going to try to do all that I can to get her better again. To help me pay the vet bills, I've gone through my art stock pile and have done a clean out, posting some artworks for sale through my shop on Made It at very affordable prices. Here are three that are already available to call your very own...

Hints + Tips - Twitter

I'm a huge advocate for the us of twitter, especially as an artist and in my full-time role for a charity. Though like most things there a general rules of etiquette, even though they may not be written in stone, they are a good rule of thumb. Here are 10 guidelines of etiquette relating to twitter that I feel are worth jotting down.
  1. Take the time to fill out your profile before you get started, personalise your profile
  2. Don’t post anything you wouldn’t want your mother to read
  3. Connect with the people you follow and it will increase the value of using twitter
  4. Build your network slowly and carefully, it's not a numbers game, it's like most good friendships - quality over quantity
  5. Don’t post so often that you will flood your follower’s stream, especially with unrelevant content
  6. Try to avoid abbreviating your message so much that it becomes illegible
  7. Interact and reply to other users when you have something useful to add
  8. Be honest about yourself, let your personality shine on through
  9. Thank users when they offer you advice to a problem or question you may have
  10. Have fun, if your not enjoying it close your account, if you are then keep on tweeting!
