Hints + Tips - Colour Scheme From A Photo, Again

You may remember a little while ago I showed you how to create a colour pallete from a photo/image via photoshop (www.nicoletattersall.blogspot.com/2009/04/hints-tips-colour-scheme-from-photo.html)
However just yesterday when looking for a colour pallet online I came across this very basic and straight forward colour pallet generator that gives you a colour pallet of both vibrant and dull colours straight from an image online at www.degraeve.com/color-palette
First step is find the image you want to use, then simply right click on the image and select view image.
Copy the location from the web bar and past it in ‘URL of image’ in the colour pallet generator then click ‘Colour-pallette-ify’. Presto, you’ve now got two colour palettes!
To get the colours in CMYK/RGB simply open up a program eg. Photoshop or something similar, click on your colour and enter the #code which will change the values to give your you CMYK/RGB values for that colour.

  1. Great tip! Especially for a non designer like myself who has to occasionally figure out stuff like this. Thanks!
