Lily Mae Martin - Mêlée

Yet another Melbourne artist showing their works on the other side of the globe this time it is Lily Mae Martin; with her first European exhibition 'Mêlée' to be held at theARTer Galerie in Berlin, Germany. Lily's works that will be displayed in this exhibition have been inspired by her recent journeys throughout Europe; from post-war Berlin to the hyper-sensitivity of security and terrorism in London. Lily portrays her subjects as confused, chaotic and frantically searching to grasp some form of control and stability within their world through her drawings and paintings.
I wish her all the best of luck with it and if your in Berlin please stop by and check out the works by this highly talented Melbourne artist.

Lilly also has done an interview for Metal Glory about her up and coming exhibition which you can read at, there are also some amazing pictures of her recent works too.

Also to keep up to date with what Lilly is up to head to her blog
