The Green House

'Greenhouse by Joost aims to inspire and educate on the possibilities of sustainability, all whilst dishing up what might just be the best nosh in Melbourne! It¹s trash turned into five-start treasure, and a CBD oasis.' - Fed Square
A few weeks ago on a last minute Christmas shopping trip I came across The Green House at Fed Square (in Melbourne). It is an Australian first in sustainable design and innovation, this bar/café/gallery is built entirely from recycled and recyclable materials.

Though sadly only just the other day did I actually venture inside to have the most wonderful glass jar (yes, glass jar) of homemade lemonade and a few snacks all served on/in reused/recycled objects.

If your in town stop by for either a refreshing glass of homemade lemonade or even a summer cocktail designed by the award-winning Seamstress boys. Be quick The Green House's last day is Thursday 29 January.
