British Shark Protester Suspended Her Self By Hooks

Early last week performance artist Alice Newstead had the hooks put through the skin on her back before being suspended in the Lush cosmetics shop in Regent Street, London for 15 minutes, with the help of Sea Sepherd. To protest against the act of shark fining, something I myself dislike with a passion.

For those who don't know what it is, it's when a shark is caught and it's fins are cut off then the fish is thrown back into the ocean to slowly die a painful death, all for the sake of some fins. To read more about the protest or to find out what you can do to stop shark fining check out the Sea Shepherd Website www.seashepherd.org
